     Hello everybody. I'm Jonathan Atz, go by Jon. I am from Jupiter, Florida, home also to Tiger Woods, Burt Reynolds, and the Cheeto-colored baby man himself. I am the youngest of three boys in my family. That means growing up I was handed down everything my brother's didn't want anymore, which was a pro and a con in one. I like to read (recently read Huck Finn and it kinda sucked), watch movies (watched Toby Maguire's Spiderman last night, it's just as good as you remember), write, exercise, play spike ball, eat.

    I can't say that there has been much depth to my experience with technology in education. My middle school was Jupiter Middle School of Technology (JMST), but that title consisted of one dusty room lined with computers older than me. In high school I was in the medical academy and sometimes we would practice CPR, Heimlich, etc. on a sort of dummy. There was some technology to that as inside the dummy there were pressure sensors for, who knows, if I would have broke a rib or something. My other high school had us bring iPads to school.

    As for my personal learning network, I'll focus on my learning goal of becoming a better fiction writer. For offline sources I talk with my friends about books or movies we've read/seen lately, picking apart the story and characters and why we liked such and such about the story. I also talk with professors and other writing students about the same stuff, just not as frequently. A huge source is my workshop, where I get critiqued on my stories. The largest offline source would be just consuming books and movies critically and learning from them. For online sources I've found just about any SMS can help in this learning goal. Instagram and twitter to an extent, youtube even more, reddit the most. I learn a lot from a few select writing subreddits.
